So.. in about two or three months DICE will release Battlefield 4's second DLC, called Second Assault. LevelCap has added the first footage of the adjusted, renewed, call it however you want, Battlefield 3 maps. And wow, they look stunning and the changes they've made, especially the ones in Operation Metro, and yes I'm talking about the shittiest map in Battlefield 3. Caspian Border was great and it now is even better, just to mention a big almost indestructible wall across the map.

Below the two vid's from LevelCap of the first two, of in total four, maps of Second Assault, Operation Metro and Caspian Border.

Caspian Border will actually feel like a border now.

One thing that they really can, presenting cinema styled trailers that give you the feeling "i must have this epic kind of a game".
I think also that it will be nice, but it feels like a recycled DLC.

Because it is, apart from the new art style and the "levolution" the maps seem pretty much identical to the old one.

In every Battlefield serie they've added a 'recycled' DLC. Look at Back to Karkand in Battlefield 3.
Eh, not really the same thing, imo. While B2K maps were based on the BF2 maps which were 6 years old, they had significant changes. So far I've seen two changes in the SA maps: the wall on Caspian, the new doorways on Metro. Nothing significant if you ask me.
Recycled DLC for a recycled game. Thats the EA way ;)
I actually like the look of Caspian Border, that big wall dividing the map really makes it feel like an actual 'border'. Not to mention, it's probably fun to blow it up.

You can't.
So what happened to the player-triggered-events philosophy?

That was the selling point of Battlefield 4, not of any DLC's. :-P ;-)

Just for the ones who like to know, Second Assault is coming to PC on February 18th, 2014. :-)

Kinda "good news". At least I can grind some Operation Métro if I really feel like playing Battlefield 4.
Hopefully not find servers as Operation Metro 24/7/365 2000TK in the whole server list.
