Does anyone have any idea why after downloading and running the battlelog update, it still won't let me play the game. For some reason, the computer isn't recognizing the update. Any ideas?

This have nothing to do with the bblog plugin. But when you think so, deactivate the plugin and try again.
Otherwise goto battlelof forum or ask EA support for help.
This Addon have nothing to do with joining or starting the game.
