OMFG, have any of you seen the new YouTube layout? It's horrible, I can't stand it. Why in the *@?&! would they want to move the whole site to the top left and leave around 50% of the site just white and empty.
And the fact that you now have to look at the corner of your screen to see the video is frustrating enough.

The new player on the other hand, that has a more sleek and modern look/feel.

Better YouTube (BYT) wouldn't hurt, lol.
Someone, please send me a chill pill, I need one (a few really) after this.
It isn't horrible, I kinda like it. They just need to center everything or fill the empty space on the right.
The design itself is nice, but I really dont understand why they didn't center it out... I sent them feedback to do it right away...
OMG... normally i think websites look better and and more "new" if the relase a new design. but i think youtube is going a step backwards...
i dont like that as well :/ its ok but too white
i really would prechiate when they make the lightgrey from past design back
and the other thing is that i hate white websites it hurts in my eyes -.-
so i would like when people can poste some cookies that i can change background or something like that

Just a little tip for anyone stumbling upon this thread.

Here's a script that makes the site content be centred:
https://userscripts.org/scripts/show/153587

It also makes the search bar larger, plus makes the subscriptions page the main page.
I am using this:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dark-skin-for-youtube/bfeknfgchonpnofdjokchhdhdnddhglm
to make my YouTube dark :)

Didn't work for me until i added
// @include *youtube.com*
to the source code.
