So, the community stopped waiting for DICE to implement it and coded their own
FREE CAMERA (spectator) MODE for BATTLEFIELD 3!
When they laumch it, the second version will be right here for you:

Hell yea, I'm really looking forward to seeing machinimas using this tool :)
Needless to say: DON'T USE THIS ON RANKED / PB ENABLED SERVERS!

That was the V1 process. Now they will launch the V2 and it will be available for everyone with ACC... At least thats what they wrote on their page :P

I don't like the "Using this tool in a Punkbuster or ranked server will get you banned." sentence. Not using it, there are a few more tools to capture at BF3, and those will not get you banned. :-)

This is not a capture software, its a free camera mode.
It is supposed to be used for making videos and streaming matches, not capturing your gameplay.
